Bárány I: Der Einfluss des Niveauunterschides und der Exposition auf die Luftemperatur in einer Doline im Bükk-Gebirge

(The influence of the difference of levels and aspect on air temperature at a dolina in the Bükk mountains)

Summary: The Climatological Institut of the József Attila University of Szeged carried out microclimatological investigations at an altitude of 750 m in the Hungarian Bükk mountains in the summer of 1961.

The study deals with the air temperatures of the dolina bottom and at the edge of the dolina is approximately the same; there are howewer greater differences between their maxima and minima. The differences in the air temperatures of the two areas are due the different environmental effects and different levels.

The observing stations were located at 3 meter differences of level from the bottom of the dolina upward. There was essential difference between the air temperatures of the N- and S-exposed slopes and this difference grew with the height of the levels.
